Speaking about vocal music, South Africa can show off several strengths. The Rainbow Nation, with its rich reservoir of cultural traditions, always breeds new top talents. The vocal quartet "iComplete" is currently considered the A-Cappella sensation of Southern Africa. Together with the jazz icon Hugh Masekela, the ensemble was celebrated in the musical "Songs of Migration" in their homeland, in Europe and in the USA. The Bachfest Leipzig presented iComplete 2014 in the "African Reflections" series with great success. From 2015 to 2016 iComplete worked in different productions in South Africa. In 2017, iComplete joined Jamie Cullum to open the sold out Aarhus Jazzfestival in Denmark. Jamie Cullum invited the ensemble for further recordings, and the subsequent Scandinavian tour was a great success. Now their first album was finally released: Isiqalo - The Beginning is available on Spotify. For the year 2018, iComplete are planning an extensive world tour. iComplete's music is spiritual, mature and extravagant - it is overcoming every cultural, racial or class barriers. Above all, iComplete is simply a pleasure for the ears and senses and very entertaining.
