From insider tip to one of the most important new alternative rock bands - London based three-piece Desert Mountain Tribe celebrate a heavy trance sound and create a dense network of psychedelic melodies woven with driving guitar riffs. Their debut album Either That or the Moon (2016) was shortlisted for the DiS Neptune Prize in the UK, a respected alternative to the Mercurys and the band has won ongoing support from BBC 6 Music and Virgin Radio via the release of an alternative mix of album track Enos In Space (On top of the World), by legendary producer Youth. Perhaps the only song ever written about the second chimpanzee to be launched into space! Desert Mountain Tribe have subsequently proved themselves to be a formidable live presence picking up rave notices from the psych community in mainland Europe via appearances at Eindhoven Psych Lab and Lisbon Psych Fest along with their first headlining tours of Scandinavia, the Baltics and Germany. The band is working to complete their second album for a planned release in the spring 2018.
